After the initial shock of eating so much subsided I turned into a bottomless pit and eating that amount of food became normal and I was hungry for that quantity daily.
MACRO COUNTING RESULTS FULL
My first week or two, adhering to these large amounts of macros seemed impossible and I was full all of the time. I know the calculations can seem like a lot to eat when youre and this was my experience. Suggested carb intake - 294 (accounting for 100% body comp including fat) I was 38% bf with a goal of 17% so I shave off 21% of my carb intake so I'm not "fueling the fat" The calculator uses your entire weight and body fat in the macro estimate so I would reduce my carbs based on bf goal. I manually adjusted the carb calculations, for example when I was 356 lbs and 38% bf the calculator suggests 294 carbs to lose weight. I would start by using a standard macro calculator I found This way I know what a full week of eating looks like and can get close without the hassle of counting every day as long as I'm training. That being said, I only weighed my food out for a week each time I changed my macros formula due to significant body comp changes. Lost 146 lbs over 3 years and macros were foundational in that process. Honestly, counting macros completely changed my world when it came to losing weight.
